Advanced Underwater Photography Course

The advanced underwater photography course is for those who have acquired basic knowledge and experience in underwater photography and wish to learn, advance and specialize in one or more subjects of underwater photography specifically such as macro, wide angle, marine life behavior, portraits and more. The course could be carried out with a compact camera with full control of all the cameras functions or a DSLR camera.


The advanced courses are personally tailored to each diver according to his knowledge and experience. We provide him with the tools and knowledge drawing on our vast experience in order to improve your level of photography and reach the best results.


In addition, to improving and learning advanced photographic techniques, during the advanced course we will teach you how to edit your photos with PhotoShop editing program.


Who can participate? Any diver who has a PADI Open Water diver certificate, OR a diver with any entry level certificate from training agency.

Minimum age is 12.


Length of Course:

3 days, including:

Day 1 - theoretical lessons in the subject of advanced photography (macro, wide angle, etc.), and 1 dive.

Downloading your photos to your computer and discussion about them.

Day 2 - theoretical lessons about photographic techniques, use of accessories and an exterior strobes, where to position the strobes in order not to get back scatters.

2 dives and downloading your photos to your computer and discussion about them.

Day 3 - 2 dives

Downloading your photos to your computer and a PhotoShop editing lesson.




Each participant takes the course with his own camera. However, in case he does not have one, he could rent one for the duration of the course.


It is recommended that each participant brings a laptop computer so that he could download the photos on the computer after each dive allowing us to hold a discussion about the photography results at the end of each day.
